Amazing AOMORI

Aizome, with characteristic vividness, has been loved from old days in Japan. Aomori-made “Aomori Ai” is produced by original method using local and organic aiba. Aizome’s color is vivid and not fades easily, and also its antibiotic action and odor-resistant nature are superior, so its function is also drawing attention. Because of its high quality, it was used for spaceship clothing of Space Shuttle Discovery. There are the places where visitors can tour round and purchase the product of “Aomori Ai”, also some are offering workshop for dyeing.
