A collaboration between light and art
Beginning every December, the Arts Towada Winter Illuminations are held at the Towada Art Center’s Art Square.
Blue LEDs cover the entire square like a carpet of light, creating a magical world of fantasy. Enjoy the sight of artworks swimming in a sea of light, looking different from how they do in the daytime.

- Train: From JR Shichinohe-Towada Station, take the Towada Kanko Dentetsu bus and get off at the bus stop directly in front of Towada Art Center (estimated time: approx. 35 minutes). The Art Square is a very short walk from the bus stop.
Car: Approx. 30 minutes by car from Shimoda-Momoishi Interchange on the Momoishi Toll Road - Car Park
