Okinaya (Shinmachi Store)

Founded in 1918, Okinaya specializes in making sweets using apples grown mainly in Aomori. We offer traditional, handmade sweets made with local ingredients from Aomori and other regions. Our bean paste is 100% home-made using azuki beans from Hokkaido.
For our apple-based sweets, such as Usubeni and Tawawa, we mainly use the tart Kōgyoku apple variety.
