Roadside Station Tsugaru Shirakami
The farmers` market at this roadside station, which is situated in central Nishimeya Village, is visited by many tourists both domestic and international.
The farmers` market offers edible wild plants, mushrooms, apples, vegetables and other produce at reasonable prices. Soba noodles made from Nishimeya buckwheat flour are a popular choice at the restaurant.
Coffee made using water from Shirakami-Sanchi, honey gathered in Shirakami-Sanchi, and other products are also available to buy.
