The goal of the Aomori Contemporary Art Centre (ACAC) is to provide various opportunities for creating and appreciating art as a new artistic environment for the next generation and to create new art and culture unique to Aomori City while facilitating diverse exchanges between artists and the public.
Amid the rich natural environment of Aomori City, the center is developing various projects as a base for creating and sharing exceptional art and culture that is both international and regionally specific, with the theme of “art and nature.”
