Ominato Navy Croquettes
大湊海軍コロッケ
These croquettes have been sold since 2008 based on a prewar recipe served to a unit of the former Imperial Japanese Navy stationed in the Ominato district of Mutsu City. The croquettes are fried in beef tallow and use local ingredients from the Shimokita region. Each authorized shop offers its own variation.
