Nakadomari Museum

なかどまりまち はくぶつかん

This museum is located close to Tsugaru Nakasato, the terminal station of Tsugaru Railway, which operates the famous stove trains. The permanent exhibition is divided into five zones: Prehistoric, Ancient, Medieval, Early Modern, and Modern. Visitors can learn about the history of Nakadomari while enjoying interactive exhibitions full of information and artifacts. Four special exhibitions are held each year, and the spring and fall exhibitions feature the prominent Miyakoshi family.

Free admission for Nakadomari Town elementary/middle school students and residents aged 65 and above.
Directions
By Tsugaru Railway: From Tsugaru Goshogawara Station, take the train bound for Tsugaru Nakasato from Tsugaru. Get off at Tsugaru Nakasato Station and walk for 15 minutes.
By Konan Bus: From Goshogawara Station, take the Goshogawara-Kodomari bus bound for Kodomari Annaijo. Get off at Nakasato Ekimae and walk for 15 minutes.
By car: Take the Tsugaru Expressway (National Route 101) and exit at the Goshogawara IC, then take National Route 339 and Komemai Road to Nakadomari Town.
