Shin-Aomori Station

Accompany with that Tohoku Shinkansen begun to operate for all line in December 4th, 2010, Shin-Aomori Station, which used to be unmanned station, became to be busy with many passengers. Station building is designed with theme of “mixing of Jomon and Future”. “Aomori Shunmikan” annexed to the station, there are restaurants that serves dished using local ingredients and souvenir shops of Aomori’s products and specialties on the first floor. On the second floor, there are concourse, Tourist Information Center, café and kiosk. The Tourist Information Center provides information and brochure for sightseeing in Aomori, and also visitors can get information using an Internet there.
