Tsugaru Kogen Golf Course

For an enjoyable round of golf, come here!

This golf course offers a magnificent view of the Hakkōda mountain range, along with the refreshing breeze unique to highland areas.

The layout makes full use of the natural terrain while maintaining a relatively flat design. The course was designed by the legendary golfer Arnold Palmer, and his golf philosophy is reflected throughout every corner of the course. The log cabin–style clubhouse blends beautifully with the highland scenery, providing a relaxing space where you can spend a leisurely day.

The course is maintained with bentgrass throughout. From the fairways to the greens and tee grounds, all areas are separated and covered with bentgrass, making this one of the few courses in Japan—and within Aomori Prefecture—where you can enjoy lush evergreen conditions throughout the entire season. The fairways are soft and slightly cushioned, making them less tiring to walk on.

Enjoy a uniquely vibrant green landscape, something rarely experienced at other courses, along with the refreshing breeze characteristic of the Tsugaru Highlands.

In the clubhouse, the men’s bath features a Finnish-style steam sauna, where you can enjoy löyly (pouring water over hot stones with a ladle), making it especially popular among sauna enthusiasts.

Golf carts are environmentally friendly battery-powered models. They are equipped with remote control operation, ensuring a smooth and comfortable round.
