Aomori Airport

The first time a large passenger jet, air bus, landed on Aomori Airport was in 1987. Since then, the amount of travelers have increased steadily. Now, there are direct international flights to Seoul, making the airport an important door to the north-north-east part of Japan.

In addition to souvenir shops, there is a convenience store and restaurants. On the 2nd floor departure lobby, travelers can shop at duty free shops while they wait to board.
